POLITICAL      PLATFORM

Elect  Mark  Edwin  Layfield, Independent Congressional Nominee, from Phenix City, Alabama, on General Election Day, Tuesday 7 November 2006, to the United States House of Representatives, for the people of the Third Congressional District of Alabama, the District with thirteen Counties in East Alabama:  Russell County, Lee, Macon, Montgomery, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa and Randolph.   Bring the jobs and industries back from Communist China where the Congressional Legislation called Free-Trade sent our jobs, voted into Law largely by Republicans, with coincidently just enough Democrats to guarantee the Corporation owners more Free-Trade Legislation.   The Republican and the Democratic Party always runs a candidate for President, at the top of the Party, who is for Free-Trade Legislation to send our jobs overseas.   What does this tell us about all of their Congressional Candidates?  Free-Trade Legislation results in the loss of our Industrial Payroll Income Tax-Base, which used to be a large source of revenue for our grandparents Social Security retirement income, SSI and for such things as the urgently-needed intersection overpasses for that severe traffic problem in Montgomery, which has been getting worse for years.   This loss of our Industrial Payroll Income Tax-Base, under Free-Trade Legislation, motivates our Local Governments to take private property to create Sales Tax generating commercial properties, to compensate for this loss of our Industrial Payroll Income Tax-Base.   Free-Trade Legislation results in Corporations deciding not to honor or deciding to void / default on the Retirement Pension Contracts they signed with our working folks.   American Organized Union Labor is vitally critical to the wellbeing of our workers and America. Organized Union Labor, with strong collective-bargaining, working together with the reasonable restraining influence of Government-based wage and price controls will reduce much of the motivation for the corporations to lobby for more Free-Trade Legislation and to have our value-added manufacturing jobs transferred overseas.   This Free-Trade Legislation removes Industrial Preservation Import Tariffs on products manufactured or grown overseas.   Cheap labor overseas and no tariffs on any imports arriving at our border make foreign products less expensive than American-made.   The American-made products do not sell, even though they are usually of superior quality.    We lose our jobs.    More industry moves overseas in a vicious cycle.    This transfer is made possible by Free-Trade Legislation.   This Legislation also motivates any number of Corporations to donate through Abramoff-type criminal lobbyists to the Two-Party Political Monopoly.    Their corrupt Congressional Candidates, such as the Republican U.S. Representative Delay and Cunningham, are then obligated to vote to pass more such Free-Trade Legislation, in a vicious cycle.   American working folks lose family health-care insurance coverage as our jobs disappear under Free-Trade Legislation.   American workers are no longer of any use to our Corporations, whose profits go up as well-paid Union Labor and other Americans are displaced by this Legislation and the cheap labor it makes available overseas.   Pass Legislation that establishes an upper-limit for settlements and for jury awards in professional medical liability law suits for personal injury.   Such a limit will lower our cost for health insurance coverage, Physicians’ cost for professional liability insurance premiums, the cost for companies that provide employee health insurance coverage and under such a limit, some motivation will be removed for corporations to send our jobs and industries overseas under Free-Trade Legislation.   This will benefit practicing physicians, the insurance companies and the workers in industry who need work and employment insurance coverage but loose it when their jobs go overseas.   Gas price is another effect, as our former jobs arrive overseas, as a result of Free-Trade Legislation.   We increasingly enrich them, the result of which is a greater worldwide demand for oil. This raises the gas price for us here, incidental to supply and demand.   This creates our number one National Security Threat.   Our jobs arrive over there under Free-Trade Legislation.   Meanwhile, the Communist Chinese continue to invest their increasing value-added manufacturing industrial riches into modern weapons, which they one day will use against us.   We are less and less able to manufacture for our own military defense industry needs, as vitally critical defense-related manufacturing industries continue to go overseas, creating our Critical National Security Threat and Military Defense Problem.   Reinstate, by Legislative Act of Congress, the Industrial Manufacturing Preservation Tariffs / Duties on any imported products, just like those we had for one hundred years before the epidemic of Free-Trade Legislation and watch how fast the jobs and industries return to America.   Foreign manufactured products have always been legal to import and to sell here.   These Tariffs / Duties, however, made the foreign manufactured product more expensive than American made and therefore too expensive to sell here.   Since Ross Perot warned us about Free-Trade Legislation, we have suffered a net loss of 900,000 value-added industrial manufacturing jobs from this Country and from Alabama’s Third Congressional District.   The War costs one billion American tax-dollars per-week, acts as an increase in the domestic demand for oil, creates a lower supply and under supply and demand, contributes substantially to the conditions that have resulted in our higher gas price here.   Separation of Church and State results in all State, no Church.   Pass Legislation to make it illegal again, as it was before 1967, to expelOur Lord Jesus Christ from the Public School classroom. Re-deploy the troops and their equipment out of Iraq.   In the nine months during which Layfield collected about 7,000 signatures on his Independent Ballot Access Signature Petition, he met forty two active-duty and retired military personnel, thirty seven of these signed-up to put him on the November 2006 Congressional Election Ballot when they saw his campaign card with “pull the troops out of Iraq and re-deploy them to the Mexican Border for illegal alien duty”.   Ninty four percent of those who did sign were active-duty military, including one Marine Corps Recruiter, in dress uniform.   Four out of five of the Military personnel who did not sign were Commissioned Officers.   We are loosing Military Personnel killed-in combat-action in Iraq at an average rate of one every 7 hours, with a Military Service-Connected disabling injury occurring at an average rate of one every 3 hours.   The invasion of this Sovereign State, stationing Foreign Armies of Occupation there and imprisoning a stabilizing Head of State Dictator only unleashed attacks between rival Domestic Islamic-Muslims on each other, provoked attacks against the Foreign Armies of Occupation by a relentless Nationalist Islamic-Muslim Underground Resistance, whose supply of wanton-new-members is virtually inexhaustible.   Iraqi families have the highest birth-rate in the World, an average of eight children per-woman.   The invasion and occupation of Iraq and the imprisonment of Saddam Hussain immediately instigated an Iraqi Civil War in kind, a Civil War since that time continuously escalating in degree.   American Occupation Authorities selected the Judge for the Court in which Hussain is on trial, a Judge who is the cousin of Hussain’s traditional Political Arch-Rival.   We are not told he is on trial for launching scud missiles in 1991 to repeatedly bomb Telivev, Israel but that he is on trial on the basis of the accusation, from twenty years ago, that he executed the conspirators and those who attempted to assassinate him.   This one is a War of words of mass Republican deception for Israel over nonexistent weapons of mass destruction, a War to destroy Iraq, the Enemy of Israel.   Replace all of our troops with Israeli and Coalition Forces for any continuation of the occupation Iraq and patrols along its roadways.  Israel may fight its own battles instead of having some other country do so.   Foreign Aid to Israel should be cut entirely.   For the last fifty years, every twenty four hours, according to Congressional Foreign Aid Legislation, we have been sending ten million American Tax-Payer Dollars to Israel.   End all Foreign Aid to all countries.   The Israelis use the money to purchase weapons.   They kill Palestinian Islamic-Muslims, which turns any number of Islamic-Muslin Countries into the enemy of Israel, including their biggest enemy, Iraq.   Then we are told by our Elected Public Officials the Islamic-Muslims flew the airplanes into the Pentagon Building and Jewish-owned World Trade Center Buildings, 11 September 2006, for the reason that they do not like our freedom and democracy.   Repeal all Foreign Aid Legislation.   The Islamic-Muslims will have no reason to hit us; this, the Layfield Conflict Resolution Plan respectfully submitted by Mark Edwin Layfield, the Independent Candidate for Congress.   The Problem of the Illegal Aliens has a solution.   Pass Illegal Alien Legislation to make it legal for all Law Enforcement, Military and Naval Forces to identify, capture and deport the illegal aliens.   We already have between ten and twenty million trespassers here, continuing to enter at the rate of eight thousand per-day.   Pull all of the troops out of Iraq, re-deploy them to the Mexican Border for illegal alien duty and re-deploy their vehicles and equipment back Stateside for the purpose of timely natural disaster response within our own Country.   The Army’s First Infantry Division may be able to develop a tactical, operational and a strategic plan, not to slow down but to bring our Illegal Alien Problem to a dead-stop, at the Mexican Border.   It is called the 5.56 mm ammunition cartridge.  Repeal the Legislation that provides for American Citizenship for illegal aliens.   Revoke the Immigration Amnesty given in the last thirty years to illegal aliens, for American Citizenship.  Pass Legislation against American Corporations who hire foreign customer service employees who pick up the phone over there when Americans call from here.   Pass Legislation that makes it illegal for foreign companies to own American infrastructure and to manage and supervise our operations.   Pass Legislation to make the Department of Veteran’s Affairs and the Veteran’s Hospital Health Care System in America second to none.   Pass Legislation to appropriate Funding at a level that satisfies the minimum-funding-goals established by all of the American Veteran’s Service Organizations, especially all of the Year 2006 Legislative Goals put forward by the Disabled American Veterans.   Pass Legislation to guarantee that all Corrections and Law Enforcement Officers in America are paid a salary that is not less than the equivalent of twenty dollars per-hour.   Pass Legislation to establish a Permanent Fund Dividend for all Alabamians, instead of Republican Governor Riley’s tax-cuts for the rich, tax-cuts that create a burden for Public School Education and place it at risk.   In the 1990s we elected him as our U.S. Representative to Congress, for the Third Congressional District, then he voted for Free-Trade Legislation to send our Jobs and Industries overseas, after campaigning that he would not.   Governor Riley certainly does like to cut taxes, our income taxes right along with our industrial payroll checks, which we used to get before he sent our Jobs and Industries overseas.   Then he goes to Asia begging for their Corporations to send their industries to Alabama.   Every industry that should be here is over there and every industry that should stay over there is here or trying to be here.   When Legislation is passed to establish an Alabama Permanent Fund Dividend for all Alabamians it should be similar to what the people of Alaska have enjoyed since 1983.   Oil and natural gas revenues from the fields in the Gulf of Mexico should provide all Legal Residents of the State of Alabama with an annual check.   Annual reinvestments of interest-revenue will go back into our Permanent Fund to not only correct for the affects of inflation but also to provide the Permanent Fund with an annual net-growth in principal.   Every April in Alaska all Legal Residents of the State receive a check, including children, which amounts to about 1,700.00 dollars, from the Alaska Oil and Gas Permanent Fund.   Pass Legislation to compel Cable TV Company Monopolies to make less expensive service available by prohibiting them from bundling, so that one may have his choice of a few channels, instead of all of the trash or nothing.   We need solar hydrogen energy.   Pass Solar-Hydrogen Legislation in the U.S. Congress for safe, environmentally friendly energy.   This is energy from the sunny deserts of America’s Mexican Border States.   Solar-Steam-turbine-generated electricity produced from reflector-magnifiers is used to extract from the water its hydrogen element, which is then super-cooled from the gas into a concentrated liquid-hydrogen state for compact shipment to where it is needed in America.   When our Jobs and Industries return, we will have a clean and environmentally friendly source of energy with which to power these industries.   All Anti-Gun Legislation passed in the last thirty years should be repealed, Laws that have the collective affect of revoking, by degree, one’s Second Amendment Rights under the Constitution, Laws which criminalize the possession of ordinary, common pistols and rifles and their reasonable use in home and family self-defense.   For the ordinary working folks of Alabama’s Third Congressional District, there is not a dollar’s worth of difference between the Democratic and the Republican Party, except for the Democratic Party being generally for the Black People whereas the Republican Party is almost exclusively for the White People.   Mark Edwin Layfield, the Independent Candidate for Congress, is for all American People of Alabama’s Third Congressional District.   The scourge of the dictatorship of the Two-Party Political Monopoly and Oligarchy in this Country is a carefully managed illusion of democracy, where we cast our vote only to elect Politicians in the Two Parties who are under the certain and thoroughly corrupting-influence of the big-money Organizations and the big-money Political Action Committees who contribute to the Election Campaign Committees of their Candidates through criminal Washington Lobbyists.  Corporations give money through criminal Lobbyists and big-money Political Action Committees to get, for example, more Free-Trade Legislation to fire more high-wage Alabamians.   This Two-Party Political Monopoly and Oligarchy passes Legislation that sends our jobs to Communist China for more cheap labor, ships our troops out to the War to destroy the enemy of Israel, a Two-Party Political Monopoly that ignores the Illegal Alien Problem.   The Abramoff  Scandal illustrates this corrupting-influence well, along with the Republican U.S. Representative DeLay and Republican U.S. Representative Cunningham, who resigned and was finally sentenced, 3 March 2006, to eight years in Federal Prison.  The certain and thoroughly corrupting-influence of donations from such big-money Organizations and the big-money Political Action Committees to Election Campaign Committees of the Two-Party Political Monopoly invariably leads to this kind of greed and criminal corruption.   The Republican U.S. Representative elected last time for our Third Congressional District of Alabama has received a million dollars in campaign donations from his big-money Organizations, and from his big-money Political Action Committees, 350,000.00 dollars of which he has spent, as of March 06, running against the Independent Nominee for US House of Representatives, Mark Edwin Layfield.   The Independent Nominee, however, accepts Campaign donations only from individuals, never from any of the Organizations nor from any of the Political Action Committees.   Under Federal Laws an individual’s donation may not exceed 2,100.00 dollars, to an Independent Candidate’s Election Campaign Committee for the, 7 November, General Election.   Our Elected Public Officials, in the Two-Party Political Monopoly, take our votes then represent the Interests based on the certain and thoroughly corrupting-influence of donations to their Election Campaign Committees from big-money Organizations and big-money Political Action Committees.   The Candidates in the Two-Party Political Monopoly do not serve the best interests our individuals, not the best interests of our registered Voting-Public that elected them in the Congressional Districts around our Country.   When elected, Mark Edwin Layfield intends to organize every Congressional District in Alabama to get an Independent on the Ballot in every District and an Independent elected in every Election, until all of the individual working folks in every one of Alabama’s Congressional Districts have the undivided loyalty and representation of our Elected Public Officials.   This will end Lobbyist-Arranged Representation by the Elected Public Officials who exclusively serve the interests of the disloyal American Corporations, through the big-money Organizations and the big-money Political Action Committees, eager for more Free-Trade Legislation to send our jobs overseas.   This will also end representation from American Elected Public Officials for the Principal of the criminal Washington Lobbyists continually manipulating for the National Interests of the same foreign Country, for not only an Iraqi War but another one for Israel, this time against Iran.
